It has been revealed that the next Superman movie is due to feature both a black director and a black actor in the lead role for the first time ever in a DC movie.
It was reported that Ta-Nehisi Coates, who expanded the Marvel world of Wakanda, is working on the script which he is expected to hand over to Warner Bros bosses in December.
The New York Times best-selling author worked on Black Panther volumes six and seven from 2016 onwards, with the first issue selling an estimated 253,259 physical copies, becoming the best-selling comic for the month of April 2016.
