New boy Elvis Bwomono would have no fears about being thrown into his St Mirren debut against Celtic.The right-back has impressed Stephen Robinson on trial and has penned a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old could make his debut in Tuesday's clash with Celtic but it isn’t something that would faze him as he is used to plenty of big televised games when he was in League One with Southend United.The Uganda international said: “I have played in a few TV games in the past so that won’t bother me, it’s exciting.
I have never played against Celtic so it will be interesting to see how they play. That’s what I’m looking forward to. I have played in games against big clubs before, like Sunderland and Blackburn when I was with Southend in League One and League Two.
Obviously Celtic will be a higher level than that but I believe I’m a good player so want to test myself against players of that standard.
