Paloma described the song as a love song for "people who are there to stay" adding, "That enduring love. Warts and all. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a love song like that, actually.” Producer Sigala teams up with renowned crooner James Arthur for Lasting Lover, an "emotional banger" penned by Lewis Capaldi.
A blockbuster combination for a potential hit, the song also samples MGMT's nostalgia-inducing psych-pop hit Time To Pretend.
