Manchester rocker Bernard Sumner has confessed 'lockdown’s doing my f***ing nut in' because he can't travel to his boat in Wales.

The Joy Division and New Order legend told The Times that he can't get to his brand new boat because 'the f***ing Welsh won't let me in'.

The Welsh Government's legislation around the coronavirus pandemic is stricter than in England and prohibits non-essential travel between both nations - something the 64-year-old singer admits he has found frustrating.

When asked as to how he was coping with lockdown, he told the newspaper: “I’ve got a brand new boat waiting for me in Wales and I can’t go to it because the f***ing Welsh won’t let me." He added: “So yeah, lockdown’s doing my f***ing nut in.” The Salford-raised
