New Line To Co-Finance & Release Zazie Beetz Horror Pic ‘They Will Kill You’ From Skydance & Muschiettis’ Nocturna
deadline.comNew Line is co-financing and releasing the Zazie Beetz horror movie They Will Kill You from Skydance and Andy and Barbara Muschietti’s genre label Nocturna Pictures.
The movie, which Deadline first told you about, reunites New Line with It franchise filmmakers, the Muschiettis, who are already expanding that Stephen King franchise with the HBO prequel series Welcome to Derry.
Kirill Sokolov will direct from a script by Sokolov and Alex Litvak. They Will Kill You follows a woman who answers a help-wanted ad to be a housekeeper in a mysterious New York City high-rise.
She doesn’t realize she is entering a community that has seen a number of disappearances over the years. Producers are David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, the Muschiettis, and Dan Kagan.
