And although these are increasing more slowly than in many other parts of Greater Manchester, the infection rate remains well above the England average.
There were 372 positive Covid-19 tests in the week to June 6 - 154 more than the previous week - leaving the rate at 167.3 per 100,000 people.
That is the third lowest in the region, but still represents an increase of 71pc week on week. The most recent hyperlocal data shows Langley and Woodside, in Middleton, is currently the main hotspot in the borough.
