New documentary ‘Public Enemies’ to explore Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud

Kendrick Lamar‘s and Drake‘s explosive feud earlier this year has been announced.According to Deadline, the UK’s Channel 4 has green-lit the documentary, titled Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake.

A release date has not been announced, nor has a broadcast plan for the US.Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake will include archival footage and new interviews with people who have worked with the rappers, and will examine how the beef “came to be so universally acclaimed, while contextualising their careers through the contemporary history and culture which created them.”It was also touch on Kendrick Lamar’s accusations that Drake is a pedophile, which he heavily referenced in ‘Meet The Grahams’ and ‘Not Like Us’.

It’s a cultural exploration of two of the most influential voices in modern music. This documentary will delve into the unique journeys of Kendrick and Drake, examining how their backgrounds, talents, and visions have made them global icons.”Earlier this year, Lamar and Drake traded blows over a constant back-and-forth of diss tracks.
