Netflix is preparing to hike prices for millions of customers - with bills to rise by £24 a year next month. The streaming giant will raise the cost of both standard and premium accounts in February with up to a 17% jump in prices.Netflix's standard plan, which lets you stream on two screens at a time, will cost £9.99 a month under the changes, marking an 11% rise from its current £8.99 a month fee.The streaming service's premium plan, which allows subscribers to view programmes on four different screens simultaneously and watch in HD and Ultra HD where available, will jump from £11.99 to £13.99.Netflix said it started notifying customers on January 1, and all of its 13 million UK customers will be contacted "in the next couple of months"..
