Netflix has announced that it will produce seven new original scripted series in the UK, ranging from horror to science fiction, love stories to physical comedy.All of the shows will be written and produced in the UK.

The Original Series team is led by VP UK Anne Mensah.“Setting up a team entirely based in the UK was always about being able to better connect to the fantastic program-makers we have here,” Mensah said.  “To provide a space for writers, producers, directors and actors that feels local, friendly and familiar but also provides talent the opportunity to make shows that will impact on a global scale.
