The Witcher fans have hit out after Netflix shared a first-look clip of Liam Hemsworth as the iconic monster killer following Henry Cavill's departure.
The streamer offered fans another update on the upcoming fourth season in the form of a 50-second clip via social media. The blue-tinted video showed the Aussie actor sporting Geralt of Rivera's signature white hair as he walked through the outdoors with his back to the camera.
In the final few seconds, he slowly looks over his shoulder, revealing his face as the character for the first time. Cavill made his final appearance as Geralt in The Witcher season three part two, which was released in July.
Although neither Netflix nor Cavill have confirmed the reason for the departure, fans have speculated he stepped down because of the shows differences to its source material.
