The director behind the Netflix success story, Carry-On, has broken his silence regarding the possibility of a sequel after the film became one of the streaming service's most-viewed pieces.
Taron Egerton stars in the action-packed drama which chalked up 149.4 million views in its initial four weeks, securing the fifth spot on Netflix's list of top-watched English language films.
It narrowly trails the Sandra Bullock-led Bird Box from 2018, a film that notched up 157.4 million views having also been released just before Christmas.
Carry-On's storyline revolves around an airport security agent who finds himself coerced into smuggling a lethal cargo onto a plane on Christmas Eve.
