Ethan Shanfeld Season 2 of Netflix’s League of Legends series “Arcane” will arrive on the streamer inNovember 2024, . The animated show, created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee and based on the Riot Games sensation, was renewed by Netflix in November 2021.
Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell will reprise their roles as sisters Vi and Jinx, who are caught on opposing sides of a conflict in the utopian city of Piltover and its poor underbelly, Zaun.
Katie Leung is also set to return as Caitlyn Kiramman. Season 1 of the video game adaptation was met with critical acclaim, and “Arcane” became the first streaming series to win the Emmy Award for animated program.
The show also won nine Annie Awards, including for Best General Audience Animated Television Broadcast Production. At the time of its premiere, “Arcane” was Netflix’s highest-rated series, as it topped the streamer’s chart in 52 countries. “Arcane” Season 1 was directed by Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord, and Imagine Dragons and JID performed the opening theme music.
