Squid Game has proven itself to be a massive hit on Netflix, which they weren’t expecting.
After just releasing a single trailer for United States subscribers, the series got a massive boost from TikTok, Twitter and through word of mouth. “We could not imagine that it would be this big globally,” Netflix’s global TV head Bela Bajaria told Vulture in an interview about the show. “We always knew it was going to be a signature title for Korea, but there’s no way to have anticipated it would be this big.” Click inside to see what they shared about a season two of the show… As for a second season, Bela shared that “nothing firm has been decided about a second season” quite yet.
