It centres around Katy Donovan who stumbles upon her long-lost partner on a dating app, despite not having seen him for a decade.
With the pressure on to match the success of its predecessor, Missing You boasts a glittering ensemble including Top Boy's Ashley Walters, EastEnders' Jessica Plummer, Rosalind Eleazar, Richard Armitage, and Lisa Faulkner.
Viewers love the stellar cast, yet opinions are divided over the lead actors' on-screen chemistry. Nick Hilton from The Independent wasn't entirely impressed, awarding the show a mere two stars.
