manchestereveningnews.co.ukNetflix has confirmed that Ricky Gervais's popular dark comedy After Life will return for a third series. The second series of the heartbreaking show was released on the streaming service last month and quickly became one of the most-viewed programmes in the UK.
Gervais, who both wrote and starred in the series, has signed a new multi-year deal with Netflix that will see After Life return for a third round.
Posting on Twitter last night, he wrote: "Because so many of you watched #AfterLife2 so quickly and made it Number 1 again, the nice people at @Netflix have suggested that I get off my fat arse and do another season.
