Netflix is changing how it is measuring viewership and it’s daily top 10 list. The streamer just released a brand new website, Top10.Netflix.com, so viewers can see how many hours the top titles are being viewed.
The metric that will be used going forward is going to be based on the total number of hours viewed per title, vs. the charting how many users watched the first two minutes of any given title. “Every Tuesday, we publish four global Top 10 lists for films and TV: Film (English), TV (English), Film (Non-English), and TV (Non-English).
These lists rank titles based on weekly hours viewed: the total number of hours that our members around the world watched each title from Monday to Sunday of the previous week,” the streamer
