Scots comedian Richard Gadd is currently basking in the success of his Netflix series Baby Reindeer, which has become one of the streaming giant's most popular hits ever.
The Fife-born comic, 35, portrays a fictionalised version of himself as he grapples with an unsettling stalker. The show, based on Gadd's 'real-life' experiences, has sparked significant controversy, with Fiona Harvey revealing herself as 'Martha' in a number of Daily Record exclusives over the past few weeks.
Gadd plays Donny, a character who he based on himself as he explored a tumultuous period of his life. Adapted from his solo Edinburgh Fringe performance, Baby Reindeer continues to dominate the UK Netflix chart at number one - and has similar success across the globe.
However, Gadd is no newcomer to the screen and, in addition to his comedic work, has established a career as an actor. His acting credits include a brief appearance in Scots time-travel fantasy Outlander.The star portrayed Duff, a former crew member of the ship Gloriana, in the fifth season episode 'Mercy Shall Follow Me' of Outlander.
