It marked their first release from the band that sees Young playing alongside Micah Nelson on guitar, Corey McCormick on bass, Anthony Logerfo on drums and Spooner Oldham on Farfisa organ.Now, Young has taken to his blog, the Neil Young Archives, to provide fans with a positive update on the band’s upcoming releases.
Writing on Tuesday (February 4), Young shared that he had finished recording their debut album with producers Lou Adler (who is also his brother-in-law) and John Hanlon at Rick Rubin‘s Shangri-La studio in Malibu.Young wrote: “It is in mastering now to make the vinyl, CD and digital copies.
I am very happy and relieved to have this done in the short time it took. The album art has been completed and handed in with Jenice Heo.
