Bernie Sanders got a big musical boost to help him through the coronavirus outbreak.

On March 16, Bernie Sanders live streamed a digital rally featuring guest appearances by Neil Young, Daryl Hannah, Jim James and Anderson .Paak’s backing band the Free Nationals. During the virtual rally, Jim James played a selection of tracks solo, and the Free Nationals played “Shibuya” “Eternal Light,” “Gidget,” and more. Neil Young performed “Heart of Gold” in front of a stone fireplace, playing acoustic guitar and a harmonica that was held in place by a camera tripod.
