Neil Young has announced that he is set to release his “lost” album ‘Oceanside Countryside’ from the 1970s. Find all the details below.The legendary singer-songwriter will share the record for the first time on Friday February 14 via Reprise, as part of his ongoing Analog Original Series (AOS).

The forthcoming project was recorded between May and December 1977, preceding the release of the musician’s ninth LP ‘Comes A Time’ (1978).Per an official description, these two full-length efforts “share the same country/folk sound, and three songs (‘Goin’ Back’, ‘Human Highway’ and ‘Field of Opportunity’) appear on both albums”.Additionally, the vinyl release of ‘Oceanside Countryside’ includes some cuts that are on the CD of the same name in ‘Neil Young’s Archives Vol.
III’.However, this tracklist is how ‘Oceanside Countryside’ was originally planned to be released, and will finally be available in analogue on vinyl for the first time ever.
