Neil Lennon lands Rapid Bucharest job as Celtic hero reveals where new club are just like team he loves

Neil Lennon gave a nod to Celtic as he was confirmed FC Rapid boss.The former Hoops and Hibs gaffer hasn't been out the dugout since leaving Cypriot outfit Omonia Nicosia back in 2022.

He's been involved in punditry work of late as he awaited his next big chance after being linked with the vacant posts at the likes of Aberdeen and Hibs previously while he was also one of the names in the frame for Republic of Ireland at a stage.However, after being spotted earlier today jetting into Romania to start his new adventure, the club have now confirmed Lennon's appointment on a two-year deal until summer 2026.

As part of his first message in his new gig he compared the 'passionate' supporters to his old fan base at Celtic and has outlined his main goal is for his team to perform.

Speaking to the club website, Lennon said: "In the beginning, I spoke with Mr Sucu and Daniel Sandu, I had extensive discussions with them.
