Neighbours have told of their shock after a man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in what police suspect was an attempt on his life.
Two men, aged 28 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident in Gorton on Sunday night.
Police were called to Woodland Road at 10.20pm following reports that a man had been seriously injured. The 63-year-old suffered 'serious injuries' after being run over by a Citreon C5, GMP said.
