The announcement comes barely two years after Amazon rescued the series from cancellation, marking a bittersweet end to the show’s 40-year legacy.

The beloved series, which launched the careers of global superstars Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Margot Robbie, has been chronicling the lives and dramas of Melbourne’s fictional Erinsborough residents since its inception.

Executive producer Jason Herbison acknowledged the show’s recent successes under Amazon’s stewardship, including consistent Top 10 rankings in the U.K.
