NBC Shows Confidence In 'St Denis Medical' By Ordering More Episodes Ahead of Series Premiere
justjared.comSt Denis Medical hasn’t even premiered yet, and the show is already receiving a higher episode count! The upcoming NBC comedy is set to premiere this fall on the network, and it was just revealed that they have ordered more episodes. Keep reading to find out more… According to Deadline, NBC picked up five more episodes for the shows first season, bringing the episode count to 18.
The series is just wrapping production its original 13 episode order, so the cast will now be able to keep working on the show!
St Denis Medical is a single-cam mockumentary style show from Superstore producers Jason Spitzer and Eric Ledgin, and centers on an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity. Wendi McClendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Mekki Leeper, Kahyun Kim and Kaliko Kauahi all star.
