Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Nationwide has relaunched its FlexStudent1 current account to give students £100 cashback within 14 days when they open an account and credit it with £500.

FlexStudent also offers an interest-free and fee-free arranged overdraft of up to £3,000 by year three. The account could be the perfect solution for students starting college or university next month, however, the £100 cashback deal is a limited time offer and anyone applying does need to meet Nationwide’s eligibility criteria.

It is not available to existing members who have a FlexStudent or FlexGraduate account open on July 31, 2022, this offer only applies to those opened on or after August 1, 2022.

To help tackle homelessness, the UK’s biggest building society will also give £10 to housing charity Shelter every time someone opens an account in August and September.
