At 37 weeks pregnant, Natasha Hamilton is ready for the pending arrival of her fifth child - a baby girl. And as she talked all things pregnancy and expanding her family with OK!
in her gorgeous maternity photoshoot, Natasha, who is expecting her first child with husband Charles Gay, also opened up on the challenges that come with being a blended family. “We’ve had our ups and downs and it’s a constant work in progress,” the Atomic Kitten singer, who is also mum to Josh, 20, Harry, 18, Alfie, 13 and eight-year-old Ella, said. “When me and Charles first got together, the older boys didn’t want me getting hurt and were very protective, which meant they pushed the boundaries. “But as parents in a blended family, you have to be a team and stay on the same page.
When the boys were lashing out, Charles would stand up and say, ‘Don’t disrespect your mum’ and it was important for them to see he was a positive male role model." The 41 year old continued: “We’re all very open and we make sure everyone feels involved.
We are solid. We don’t use words like ‘step’ or ‘half’. We are a family, we are blood.” Natasha, who this time around tried IVF before conceiving naturally, also talked about names for her baby.
