Natalie Portman is ready for the world to see her new Apple TV+ series Lady in the Lake! The Oscar-winning actress attended the premiere of the show alongside co-star Moses Ingram on Thursday night (July 11) at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City.
Also in attendance were co-stars Y’lan Noel, Mikey Madison, Sean Ringgold, Noah Jupe, Byron Bowers, Selema Masekela, Josiah Cross, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Samir Royal, and Dylan Arnold, as well as director Alma Ha’rel.
The first two episodes of Lady in the Lake will debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, July 19. During a new interview, Natalie talked about the discovery that she made while working on the show, which takes place in Baltimore. Keep reading to find out more… “I don’t like to compare myself to my characters.
I always try to explore something different from what I am in my real life,” Natalie told People. “But something that was really different for this was that my grandmother was in her 40s during the 1960s, and she was originally from Baltimore — where this is set — in the Jewish community.
