Naomi Campbell has penned an emotional tribute to her grandmother, who died at the age of 77. Naomi wrote that Ruby Louise Campbell Russell came to the UK as part of the Windrush generation, but that her "heart always remained in Jamaica".

Windrush refers to the post-war period of immigration, during which nearly half a million immigrants came to Britain and helped the country cope with its new labour shortage.

Sharing a string of snaps of the two of them together, Naomi thanked her "true, loyal" grandma for all the principles she had instilled.
