Nancy Grace To Host Weekly Topical True-Crime Series For Investigation Discovery
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Investigation Discovery is getting into the topical space with a dark twist. The Warner Bros. Discovery-owned cable network is launching Crimefeed, a weekly, topical true-crime show hosted by Nancy Grace.
Crimefeed will launch at 11 p.m. Wednesday October 11. Deadline understands that nine episodes have been ordered. It comes after Grace hosted her first ID show, ID Special Report: The Long Island Serial Killer, about the Gilgo Beach serial killings, in August.
Given the popularity of weekly true-crime podcasts, it marks an interesting step to air a topical series on television. The series will dig into the top true-crime stories of the moment as they unfold in real time.
Grace will discuss cases with journalist Mara S. Campo, who is the Global News Anchor and Managing Editor for Revolt Black News, and former police sergeant and private investigator Derrick Levesseur, who previously hosted Breaking Homicide for ID.
