evoke.ieSports fans around the world were outraged to see pentathlon coach Kim Raisner punch a horse during the Toky2020 Olympic Games but it looks like the story might have a happy ending after all.
The German coach who also instructed rider Annika Schleu to ‘really hit’ the horse, named Saint Boy when it bucked at completing a jump was ultimately disqualified from the mens’ individual event but it’s not clear what became of the animal.
Things are definitely looking up for Saint Boy however as Hollywood actress Kaley Cuoco was so moved at his mistreatment that she has offered to give him a home.
