Former Arsenal favourite Nacho Monreal has opened up about his decision to leave the club to join Real Sociedad last summer and says he has no regrets about his departure from the Emirates.
The 34-year-old was a crucial part of the Gunners' squad for six-and-a-half seasons, making 251 appearances in all competitions and winning three FA Cups.
Despite starting the first three games of the current season Monreal ended his spell at Arsenal on deadline day to join Sociedad for a fee of £7.2m, and speaking to Spanish publication El Pais he said that he is enjoying being back in La Liga.
