The identify of a man found dead in a field remains a mystery two weeks after he was discovered. The man, thought to be aged between 40 and 50-years-old, was found on Dean Brook, near to Horrobin Lane in Rivington.
Lancashire Police said the force is not treating the man's death as suspicious. Officers have released pictures of the jacket and boots he was wearing, as well as his watch, in the hope that someone will recognise them.
The force said in a statement: "The body of the man was found on December 7 2023. At this time, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
There is no connection to the ongoing search for Brian Blakeman, who is missing from Skelmersdale.
