A man's body has been discovered on a beach in Yorkshire, with police treating the death as "unexplained". The man's body was found at Hornsea beach in East Yorkshire at around 8am on Tuesday, September 24.
The local Hornsea Inshore Rescue team were the first to respond to the scene, with a number of police vehicles joining afterwards.
Humberside Police has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man's death. The man is yet to be identified by police, Hull Live reports. Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances of his death, which is currently being treated as unexplained." The force urged anyone with information to come forward. "Anyone with information that may assist our enquiries, please call us," the force said.
