Olympic gymnast Jessica Gadirova is gearing up for next year's Olympics, training full-time in the hope of being selected as part of the Great British team, but the sport certainly comes with its challenges.
Jessica, 18 started gymnastics when she was around six years old and has already had a hugely successful career having taken home bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, become a European All-Around Champion, a three-time European Floor Champion and a World Floor Champion.
At the 2020 Olympics, the gymnast who was 16 years old at the time competed alongside her twin sister, Jennifer Gadirova, who also took home bronze in the team event, and now Jess has her sights set on next year's games in Paris.
Talking about making the 2024 Olympics team Jess spoke exclusively to OK! and said: "The original plan was to go to Paris, I didn't see Tokyo in my vision, but we obviously tried hard that year and I was obviously good enough to go, but it would definitely be a dream to go for a second time. "I'm going to do everything I can to get myself on to that team (The Great Britain Gymnastics team) and hopefully be in Paris." Adding: "When I have my mind set on something I'm going to do whatever I can to achieve it".
