A family-of-six who say they fled their hometown after the dad was told there was a 'price on his head' say they face the prospect of being homeless this Christmas.
Kathleen Mongans and Brendan Francis Quinn moved to Merseyside from Belfast in Northern Ireland in April this year after what they claim was a campaign of violence and harassment, which included death threats.
After declaring themselves homeless, they were put up in temporary accommodation near Liverpool while their claim for housing was assessed and circumstances leading up to their arrival in the UK reviewed by Sefton Council.
The couple have four daughters and one son - one adult daughter lives in Belfast and the four remaining children live with them in temporary housing in Litherland.
