Lynn Ratcliffe's dog Simba has seen Manchester City win more trophies than most fans see in their lifetimes. It's 18 to be precise, having attended every home game with Lynn and almost every away fixture.
Simba even got a spot on an open-top bus through Manchester City centre in 2019. Now enjoying a well-deserved retirement, Lynn has another assistance support dog who attends games and is learning the ropes - Barnby.
And while Barnby is still having to be reminded not to lick the ears of supporters on the row in front, he is actually working during games for a very important job. "So I've got an epilepsy seizure alert dog since about 2008.
Barnby is my current dog, he's my third one. When I got my first one, Dougal, I approached the club and said where we were sitting wasn't appropriate for an assistance dog.
