My Chemical Romance breaks silence after former drummer Bob Bryar’s death at 44

Bob Bryar died at 44 years old.“The band asks for your patience and understanding as they process the news of Bob’s passing,” a spokesperson for the band said in a statement to Variety on Sunday.The Post has reached out to a rep for the rock group.Bryar was found dead inside his Tennessee home last Tuesday.

He was last seen alive on Nov. 4, TMZ reported.Animal control was called to the home to remove two dogs after the former musician’s badly decomposed body was discovered.Authorities don’t suspect foul play in Bryar’s death.

His cause of death is still unknown.Bryar was My Chemical Romance’s longest-tenured drummer.He was originally a sound technician for The Used.

He joined My Chemical Romance while the two bands were on tour in 2004, replacing original drummer Matt Pelissier.The group’s members included Bryar, lead vocalist Gerard Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro, bass guitarist Mikey Way and rhythm guitarist Frank Iero. “I left a very good touring gig where I was tour managing and doing sound.
