Murdered man poses with childhood friend before he stabbed him to death

A man was pictured posing with his childhood friend who tragically went on to stab him to death.Murdered Bradley Tams, 23, had been pals with Gavin Train for more than 10 years.

The pair were so close, Train even asked him to be his child's godfather before their friendship broke down last year.Although they were no longer friends, Bradley's loved ones said they could never have imagined he would go on to kill him.Train pleaded guilty to Bradley's murder and is now facing life behind bars.

Today Bradley's heartbroken mum told ChronicleLive how the knife killer betrayed her boy.Julie Weatherson said: "They were really close friends.

He's someone Brad would have trusted. He never would have thought it would come to that, or that he could do something like that.
