A mum who slept beside her daughter's coffin after the 22-year-old was killed by a drink-driver has told how her life was "blown into pieces".
Claire Danks' daughter Lauren was taken too soon after drunk driver Nelson Curtis smashed into her at 104mph as she made her way home from work.
Curtis had downed 10 pints of beer over nine hours before he smashed into Lauren in his Jaguar. The 64-year-old, who already had two convictions for drink-driving, fled the scene but was later jailed for seven years.
Beauty therapist Lauren, was returning from her first late shift following a promotion at a spa in Center Parcs when she was struck on the A11 in Suffolk.
