A mum-to-be married to a Brit is facing a £7,400 NHS bill if she gives birth in the UK as she is unable to return to homeland because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Aman Marshall and her husband Andrew, a British citizen, came to the UK in January to visit his family in Cherry Willingham, Lincolnshire, from their home in China.

But the coronavirus pandemic then hit, leaving the couple stranded and unable to get home and since then the 28-year-old has fallen pregnant, reports Lincolnshire Live.

However her visa expires at the end of August and she could be forced out of the UK and back to China without Andrew, who is not allowed back into the Asian country because he is a British citizen.
