Mum terrified after stranger asks to 'buy her baby' then tries to grab child from pram

A terrified mum was approached by a man who tried to snatch her baby after asking if he could ‘buy’ her child. The woman had been out walking with her baby when she was accosted by the stranger, who tried to take the youngster from its pram.

He blocked her path on the street, asked if he could buy her baby, then tried to unbuckle the child’s restraints. But the brave mum managed to turn the pushchair around and shoved the man away before fleeing the scene.

Luckily neither the baby or mum were hurt during the shocking ordeal, reports Birmingham Live. Police say they believe it was an "isolated incident" and are trying to track down the man.
