Mum stabbed to death by former partner before he was mowed down by 'hero' driver

A mum was stabbed to death in the street by her former partner, before he was mowed down and killed by a "hero" driver in horrifying scenes.

Yasmin Chkaifi tragically died at the scene on January 24 after her former partner Leon Mccaskie, 41, is alleged to have repeatedly stabbed her with a kitchen knife.

A "hero" driver then ran down and "killed knife-wielding Mccaskie in a desperate attempt" to save Yasmin, as reported by Hull Live.

Both Yasmin, known by her loved ones as Wafah and Mccaskie ended up underneath the car in Maida Vale, London, and died from their injuries.
