How do you tie your dressing gown? It's something that not many of us would have probably put much thought into. But the seemingly innocent question has sparked a divide online as apparently, we've been doing it wrong our whole lives.

Megan, known as @meggarlandd on TikTok, shared the 'correct' way to tie your dressing gown - and she reckons we'll never wear one the same again.

In a video that has been viewed more than 2.6 million times on the social media platform, mum-of-three Megan, who is originally from England but now lives in Canada, shows herself doing up the purple robe in the traditional way - with a knot at the front.
