A mum has issued a stark warning after her daughter needed surgery after an eyelid tore open while she was playing with a plastic clothes hanger.
The six-year-old girl was left bleeding and had to be rushed to hospital after she was cut by the broken clothes hanger. The woman, who lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, described her harrowing ordeal in a Facebook post.
Hanis Hafiz said her children were playing when her child found the broken remains of a simple household clothes hanger that had been thrown away.
She said that the girl had the item like she was "holding a pen" and that ultimately it then went into one of her eyelids. She said "the blood came out fast" and despite efforts to call the dad she was unable to reach him.
