When welcoming a baby into the family, picking a name is something that many parents spend months deliberating over. It's not a process that should be rushed, but one mum who claims that she was under a lot of pressure to pick a name now says she regrets not thinking it over more.

She had given birth to a baby girl 18 months ago, but since then, she's felt "regret and sadness" over her name and has debated changing it so that her daughter doesn't get bullied when she starts school.

The Mirror reports that the woman posted her dilemma on Reddit, seeking advice from other parents on what she should do. She told people her daughter is called Genevieve Iris.

While the names separately are fine, she's concerned there is an issue when you say them both together. She thinks the name sounds too much like "virus" when they're spoken together.
