A mum’s recipe to make soft serve ice cream taste ‘exactly like’ Mr Whippy with only two ingredients has proven an internet sensation.

The simple but ‘game-changing’ recipe has gone down a storm on Tik Tok, with users reporting they can’t believe how good it tastes.

Some people say they’ll never need to buy real Mr Whippy again because they’re so impressed, write the MEN. Two staples you may already have in your kitchen - condensed milk and double cream - are all the recipe requires while the ingredients cost as little as 50p at Aldi and Lidl.

After hearing about the recipe, Tik Tok star @emmahord4 decided to try it out.She said: “Rumour has it that you can make Mr Whippy ice cream using condensed milk and double cream - so obviously, I’m going to give this a go.“I’m going to whip it until it goes a bit stiff.“Then I’m going to add the condensed milk - I have no idea how much I’m going to do so.
