Mum's anger after saying school told disabled daughter, 14, she 'wasn't allowed to wear tracksuit' on Culture Day

Kathryn Beardow, 39, who has six children aged four to 21, said her 14-year-old daughter Katelyn wanted to wear tracksuit bottoms, a T-shirt and a matching hoodie but says she was told she was not allowed by teachers at Manchester Enterprise Academy.

The Gorton mum says Katelyn, who has cerebral palsy, was instructed that should she turn up in that outfit, she would have to get changed into her school uniform.
