Mum packs away decorations on Christmas Day as she 'can't deal with clutter'

A mum has revealed that she takes her decorations down on Christmas Day because she "can't deal with clutter". Although the Twelfth Night after Christmas, January 5, is the traditional day to take the decorations down, Bec Franklin from Chesterfield, has admitted to ridding her house of all the tinsel, baubles, glitter and fairy lights as soon as she possibly can.

It's not that the 25-year-old doesn't like Christmas as she admits she 'loves the magic' of the holiday, it's that she hates how cluttered the house feels once it's over.

After a tough year with the coronavirus pandemic, Bec and her wife Jorden gave their home a festive makeover in November in a bid to "lift their spirits".
