mirror.co.ukA mum-of-two has been stabbed to death with a samurai sword at her home. Jean Eagers, 57, died in the horrific stabbing in Ireland which it is thought her son, in his 20s, partially witnessed.
Her son had tried to get help during the horrific incident in her home in Hartstown, Blanchardstown, on the outskirts of Dublin.
Gardai and paramedics were called to reports of the attack at around 11.30am today. Officers from the Armed Support Unit are said to have used force to enter the house, reports the Irish Mirror.
Gardai seized a number of weapons, including a samurai sword and a meat cleaver, which are believed to have been used in the fatal attack.
