A struggling mum-of-five says her family was unable to shower or have a proper meal for days after their Personal Independent Payment never arrived.
Sarah Brown, who lives with her partner Stephen and five children, was waiting for the payment to be transferred into her bank account on Wednesday morning.
However, the money was never sent, meaning she was unable to top up the family's gas and electricity meter over the weekend - leaving them with no shower for days, Manchester Evening News reports.
She was also forced to bundle up her eight-month-old baby in clothes as they slept in their cot so they wouldn't get cold.The rest of the family went to bed fully clothed in order to stay warm, she said.
